Seven years after the cave-family traversed the wilds looking for a new home, they finally arrive—only to find it’s not at all what they hoped it would be. Peter Dinklage and Leslie Mann join the already-great voice cast (Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds) for a super-hectic, over-the-top, kid-friendly movie that also has plenty of parent-geared humor to keep everyone on board throughout. Hilarious, clever, and a non-stop (albeit a wee bit frenetic) good time.
