Though you might live your life by the mantra, “If you’ve seen one Jason Statham movie, you’ve seen them all,” Wrath of Man is among his better offerings (and currently holds—at 90%—the highest Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score of any of his flicks front the past 20 years). Here he’s a revenge-fueled father planning the ultimate retribution (because, of course he is), and he ably carries the flick on his back. Of course, having Guy Ritchie on board as director and co-writer doesn’t hurt… especially now that Ritchie’s gotten the bad taste of 2019’s disastrous Aladdin off his palate.
