Olivia Colman continues to prove herself among the best contemporary actors in this mind-melting drama based on the best-selling novel about a woman coming to grips with her past. Adapted and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, ‘Daughter’ is not only a showcase for the talents of all involved (including Dakota Johnson, Jessie Buckley, and Ed Harris) but will also keep you guessing until the bitter (bitter) end.
