Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson star in this ‘Notting Hill’ wannabe (super-famous person falls for average Joe), and despite its ridiculously far-fetched setup, it actually will charm its way into your heart if you let it. If it weren’t for the rock-solid chemistry between the stars and a halfway decent script, ‘Marry Me’ would like have been one of the most disastrously awful films of the year, but director Kat Coiro (TV’s ‘Dead to Me’, ‘Shameless’) pulls together a decent effort.
