A young couple (Anna Camp and Joseph Mazzello) navigates the difficult realities of infertility as they start their life together on a Midwestern farm in this low-budget Indie from first-time feature director David Hunt. Although outwardly a vehicle for the pair of actors to pad their resume a bit (with an opportunity to showcase talent in lieu of exposure), there’s still plenty to like here. With nothing contrived to weigh it down, the story zigs and zags to the far reaches of convention and back again. Camp is wonderful, and Mazzello matches her almost punch for punch in what amounts to a fairly memorable character study.
