If you love it, miss it, or never saw it but are curious what all the hype is about, now’s your chance. Presented with remastered audio and video and in 3D (which only serves to add depth and not function as a gimmick), the 1997 epic is back in theaters for a limited run. On one hand, the dialogue is still occasionally ridiculous, and there’s still the old ‘door big enough for two’ debate to contend with, but, on the other, the story is still great, the visual effects are still out-of-this-world, and the score will still make you grab a box of Kleenex (or two).
