BIPOC violence at the hands of law enforcement gets the Groundhog Day treatment in this powerful short (32 minutes) that just won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film. It’s gut-wrenching and brilliant in its message, production, and succinct script. Though its main theme presents the futility of the current situation, it can’t help but convey a sense of hope and a continued call for change and awareness.
