Chronicling the life (and amazing ideas) of the father of The Muppets, this snazzy documentary directed by Ron Howard takes you on a wildly imaginative and creative journey. It’s a moving and fairly comprehensive look at Henson without ever being just a video version of a Wikipedia entry. Contributions from Frank Oz, Jennifer Connelly, Rita Moreno, and many, many of Henson’s former Muppet colleagues – along with priceless footage spanning his decades-long career – help make it a fascinating peek behind that magical curtain that opened every episode of ‘The Muppets’.
