Pixar’s latest offering may not be in the same rarified air of, say, WALL-E or Toy Story 3, but it’s still dripping with the studio’s trademark charm and is elevated by outstanding animation. The story of two young Italian sea creature boys who magically become human when they set foot on dry land, it’s a literal fish-out-of-water story stuffed with heart and comedy. It’s middle-of-the-road as far as Pixar goes, but, given Pixar, that’s actually high praise.
