Jason Mamoa and Isabela Merced star in a revenge thriller about a dad and daughter trying to hunt down the pharmaceutical company baddies who they blame for her mom’s cancer death, before going on the run to escape the authorities. It’s a violent road-trip that has a decent pace and enough going for it to keep your interest… until the out-of-nowhere third-act twist—which not only doesn’t work as a twist but shows you how much better the movie could have been had it been the main plot all along.
