Every so often, you’ll trip on film that will make you say, out loud, to no one in particular, ‘What the heck was that?’. Such is the case with this bizarre, twisted Indie drama (attempting to be a comedy) about an Olive Garden-esque manager (Alison Brie) who wins a spot at a company retreat in Italy, only to find—well, who really cares? Horribly unlikeable people put in squirmingly off-the-wall situations can’t be anyone’s idea of fun. There’s potential here, sure, but all of it is squandered pretty much from the word “go”.
