If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like if Benji, Lassie, and Rin-Tin-Tin were foul-mouthed, raunchy mutts who set off on an incredible journey, hell-bent on revenge against a jackass human, well… you’re in luck. Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Randall Park, and Isla Fisher (among others) voice the pooches in this oh-so-NSFW comedy that misses more than it hits but still can’t help being kinda amusing, at least sporadically. Even more than that, there’s a heaping helping of feels on display here (I know, right??) that, doggone it, manages to make ‘Strays’ a decent watch.
