The 2019 BBC interview with Prince Andrew, Duke of York, about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstien was an unmitigated disaster, leading to his becoming a pariah not only in the UK as a whole but also within the royal family. Now director Philip Martin (‘The Crown’) brings us the behind-the-scenes of it all in a decent-enough film that takes us inside the before, during, and after of that hellacious media trainwreck. I’m not sure there’s enough here to justify an entire movie (‘All the President’s Men’, this is not), but as an in-depth look at a moment in time, it works.
