Stuffed to the gills with more raunch and violence and meta humor than maybe any movie in history, the third in this wildly irreverent franchise teams Ryan Reynolds with his longtime real-life buddy High Jackman (along with a host of nifty cameos) for a genuine summertime popcorn hit. In all fairness, the plot (such as there is) is a distant second to the pure fun to be had. Director Shawn Levy (teaming with Reynolds for the third time in as many years) lets it all hang out, cramming as many easter eggs and winks and nods in as humanly possible. It’s a trip and a half.
