Samuel L. Jackson and Maggie Q star as assassins in this well-paced thriller from Goldeneye (remember that one?) director Martin Campbell. It’s as bloody and a butcher shop (and sometimes just as messy), but Q carries the film on her back, and first-rate supporting turns from Michael Keaton and Robert Patrick help elevate it. It’s still not the great film that Q deserves, but it proves once again that she’s the real deal.
