History remembers them as the all-American band who gave us so many classic songs, but, of course, there’s much more to the story. Directed by Frank Marshall and Thom Zimny, this all-encompassing documentary (for the most part, anyway – there’s only so much you can cram into just under two hours) takes us inside the world of the gifted California kids with a trove of archival footage and photographs. Come for the great tunes, stay for the fascinating insight.
