Once upon a time, the Brat Pack ruled Hollywood, but it turns out the members of that clan (and who was included is still up for debate, all these years later) were none too fond of the monicker. Charter member Andrew McCarthy set out on a therapeutic journey of self-discovery and reconciliation, relying on his old buddies (Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy, and Demi Moore among them) to help him make peace and move on. It’s a half-fun, half-introspective documentary that will no doubt delight Gen Xers, as McCarthy and the gang relive the good ol’ days, but the highlight comes when the actor confronts David Blum, the journalist who coined the term in the first place.
