Kate Beckinsale kicks ass and takes names in this frenetic film that will instantly bring Jason Statham’s Crank to mind. She’s a woman with chemically-induced anger management issues who needs to wears a shock vest to calm herself down, but when her boyfriend is murdered, she goes on a rampage. Jai Courtney, Stanley Tucci, Laverne Cox, and Bobby Cannavale co-star in what could have been a cheesy, overblown mess but actually works fairly well.
