Director James Gunn’s latest is an all-out, nutballs redemption of sorts for the DC folks. After a less-than-dismal slate of offerings so far (with the lone exceptions of Wonder Woman and the Snyder cut of Justice League), the studio finally has a worthwhile film. John Cena, Margot Robbie, and Idris Elba lead the way a the rag-tag group of ‘alternative’ superheroes in a funny, violent, and gonzo flick.
