This French, future-set parable about technology taking over our lives comes from the mind of Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who gave the world ‘Amélie’ and ‘A Very Long Engagement’. It’s quirky and colorful and fun and wild, and even though it’s lacking the heart of Jeunet’s earlier films, it’s still a clever and thought-provoking work from one of the best in the business today. ‘Bigbug’ is his first film in almost nine years and is worth the wait.
