Brad Pitt stars as a top-of-his-game hitman in this ultra-violent caper that plays out largely in real time on board a bullet train headed from Tokyo to Kyoto. Directed by David Leitch (‘John Wick’), it’s a mile-a-minute thriller that includes ample sprinklings of much-needed humor along with killer (ba-dum-dum) performances from a great supporting cast, including Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Brian Tyree Henry. Even though it could have benefitted from some editing (it clocks in at over two hours), it’s still a slick and fun and bloody ride.
