Documentarian April Wright follows up her 2013 film ‘Going Attractions: The Definitive Story of the American Drive-in Movie’ with a return visit to the now-fading bit of nostalgic Americana, looking at how a dozen or so theaters across the country navigated the post-pandemic times. While certain to serve as a reminder to find and patronize the one nearest you, the film does little else of note, combining all the featured theaters into a fuzzy mess and presenting their collected stories with distractingly amateurish audio, editing, and camera work.
