Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown return as Sherlock and his sister in this whimsical mystery centered around the matchgirls’ strike in 1888 London. Director Harry Bradbeer and writer Jack Thorne are back, too, keeping the high-energy, fourth-wall-breaking style of the 2020 original. It’s a classic Victorian whodunnit with solid performances all around and a tight, clever script (with a notable history lesson added in as a bonus).
